T-Ball

This is the first year of Liam playing T-ball. He is on a team with a bunch of 4-6 year olds that have also never played t-ball before. To say that his games are entertaining is definitely an understatement. It is absolutely adorable to see all the tiny little kids dressed up in their uniforms or "costumes" as Liam calls them. I have seen anything from nose picking, grass pulling, dirt playing, and airplane watching, to kids literally laying down and curling up on the pitchers mound to take a nap. Fun times:).
Although I'm not too sure how much t-ball he has actually learned, he is having fun and making memories, so that is what matters, especially when your 4.

Hudson's 2nd Birthday!

It's been a couple months since the party, but since I have a little extra time I thought I would do a little blog updating.

Little man is growing up so fast and keeping us busy all the time! He is so smart and has a vocabulary like I have never seen. When I took him for his check up a couple weeks ago the Pediatrician even commented on how impressed she was with how well he was talking for his age. He's constantly cracking us up and will repeat absolutely anything his big brother says. Good or bad.

As we are getting ready for baby Oliver to arrive in just a few short months, I am trying to enjoy the last moments with him being my baby:). It will go by too fast.

Back to School

Liam started back to school this week. This is his second year of preschool, and he is in the 3 year old class. He goes to school Tues, Wed, and Thursday from 9-1. He loves his new teachers and even has a few of the same friends from last year in his class, so he was looking forward to that. So far we are off to a good start! It is going to take me a few weeks to get back into a routine and not look like such a hot mess when I drop him off every morning, but hopefully those kinks will work their self out. As for him, he's doing great:)!

Talking!

It seems like just in the last week or so Hudson has decided to start talking. It is cracking us up the words he will decide to say. I was sitting on the couch with Liam a couple days ago and Hudson was playing on the floor when all of the sudden he grabs a toy Elmo doll runs over and hands it to me and says "Elmo". I just looked at him kind of stunned and said yes, that is Elmo. Totally out of the blue. Another one that he says that cracks us up is "Batman" it sounds more like "Bat Ma", but still funny to hear him say. I guess since his brother is dressed up like Batman 90% of the time I probably shouldn't find it that odd, but still it cracks me up! Here is a list of his other words right now:

1. Mama
2. Dada
3. Liam
4. Lucy
5. Ball
6. Book
7. All done
8. No No
9. Guh Guh
10. Nana
11. Pa
12. Nose
13. Eyes
14. Bear
15. Bath
16. Juice
17. Pee Pee
18. Up
19. Puppy
20. Bubble
21. Yum Yum

I am sure I am forgetting some, but this is a pretty good list for now :).

We keep trying to get him on video saying all of his words, but he is not one for performing. We will keep trying though.

Adventures with a Super Hero

Liam is REALLY into dressing up lately. Every day he is either Spiderman, Batman, Superman or a combination of the three. I love this age, it is so sweet and so much fun to see his imagination grow. We were in Publix the other day and Liam was dressed like Batman, as we were going through the store, Liam looks at me and says, "Mom, no one is saying hi to me, they don't know that I'm Batman." So, to fix this problem, Liam stand up in the back of the cart, puts his hands on his hips and yells as loud as he can "HI EVERYBODY, I AM BATMAN!!" I couldn't help but laugh. I just love him.
