Well, we officially survived our first family vacation!! Yay! We took a few days and went up to Asheville, NC to see the Biltmore Estate. Liam did AMAZING in the car, we couldn't had asked for a better ride. It is hilarious the amount of stuff you have to pack when you leave the house with an infant. I honestly couldn't believe it myself. Nick kept saying..."are you
sure we need to bring that" as I was packing practically everything the poor child owns. We ended up visiting during the spring flower festival at Biltmore which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I haven't seen that many tulips in my life. Liam did great as long as he was in his stroller, however there are parts of the house that are not accessible with the stroller and we had to carry him in the baby carrier, he was not too big of a fan of that, so we did have a crying baby at times. But, overall I think that he did great!! It was a beautiful time of year and we had a perfect day to spend at the Estate. One thing that we did determine after staying in our hotel room for two nights was that we definitely need a king size bed! I was told that when we have children not to buy a crib, just invest in a king size bed, because that is where they will end up sleeping anyway. Now I believe that is a pretty good idea! Well, enjoy some of the pictures from our trip!! ;-)

Your photos are beautiful!!! Liam is getting bigger by the minute. That's pretty good advice about the king sized bed. My parents advised us to get one... in case I end up pregnant with twins Rob will still have room to sleep in our bed with a big ole belly next to him HAHA!.. needless to say that was our first major purchase as a married couple.
What great pictures! I'm sure y'all had a blast!!
I second the comments on the awesome photog skills!!! The flowers are gorgeous!!! Your little family is so precious and so glad to read you had a wonderful trip.
That Does look beautiful.
You know, my friend Tiffany got married there. I didn't even get to tour it b/c of my broken foot!
